Improving Wellways UX, web & social
Improved Wellways UX and managed web & social media
Mental health NFP Wellways found that few people arrived at key pages. Google Analytics and Crazyegg App data was analysed and provided user behaviour on specific webpages.
Scroll maps revealed that content was misplaced, making it hard for users to find programs or pages. Heat maps indicated a flawed navigation setup and a homepage with content arranged incorrectly.
Video recordings showed users were confused with words/language and IA content structure.
This fragmented user journeys on the site. Only 37% used the homepage
What did I change?
Updated the homepage image to give it a fresh look.
Changed some wording and IA structure
Changed the order of the contents and removed some (not- required) items.
The result? An immediate increase in visitation.
